La Voyage de la Feuille was a project in collaboration with Alexandra Duvekot, produced during a residency at Kunsthuis Syb in Beetsterzwaag. We 'liberated' a banana leaf from the local tropical greenhouse and filmed its journey in the nearby forest. We then documented its slow decay during the following 20 days. The project ended with a performance / ritual with music, in which we buried the dead leaf in the backyard.
